Hello and welcome to our website. My name is Arlene Thompson and I am the receptionist and finnancial coordinator in our dental practice. I am the one that will usually greet you at your appointment and I have been working with Dr. Mattingly for over 7 years. I personally make it my goal in scheduling appointments, not to make you sit and wait for any appointment longer than 5 minutes. Delays occasionally occur, but our office is proud not to be like most health care offices where you traditionally wait 30-40 minutes before being seen. Amongst many other job duties I schedule and confirm appointments, make financial arrangements, and call insurance companies when needed to help you understand your benefit plans. My husband and I have 3 beautiful children and I enjoy running and relaxing with my family. Year Hired: 2001     My name is Laura and I work with Dr. Mattingly on Saturdays. I have been here since 2000 and I enjoy working with such a great team of co-workers and interacting with our wonderful patients. We all really care about our patients and I think it shows in how happy our staff is to try and please our patients.  In addition to being a part of this office, I also work during the week for an Endodontist in Pleasant Hill.  I enjoy reading and music in my limited spare time as my husband and I have four wonderful and active boys. Laura: 2001     My name is Alicia and I have enjoyed being in the dental field for 10 years. I began as a registered dental assistant and continued on to receive my certificate and license from Diablo Valley College as a Registered Dental Hygienist. It has been great working in different settings and I am very pleased to be part of Dr. Mattingly's dental team. The doctors, staff, and patients make it a wonderful place to work. Furthermore, as a health care provider, I am truly privileged to be able to offer my services, care and knowledge to all patients.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my 4 nephews and niece. I spent 8 years of my career in a Pediatric office which I thoroughly enjoyed. I joined Dr. Mattingly's office earlier this year. The things I like most about his practice are the amazing staff and the wonderful patients. My goal as dental assistant is to provide patients with the best care possible. I'm married and have two wonderful children, an 8 year old boy and a 5 year old girl. When I'm away from the office I enjoy spending time with my family, and traveling. It is really rewarding to provide our patients the extra care and comfort they need during their treatment. Dr. Mattingly and our friendly staff strive hard to make our patients' visit a pleasurable one. Our office has a professional and accommodating environment where we make patients our priority. Outside of work, I love watching good movies, and I play tennis occasionally. Year Hired: 2003     Hello, my name is Uni and I am the "quiet and shy" hygienist in our practice (hehe).  I got my degree in Dental Hygiene from Wytheville Community College in Virginia in 2002 and have been blessed to truly enjoy my profession.  With the support of Dr. Mattingly and staff, I pride myself in achieving the highest quality of dental hygiene care and patient education.  In my spare time, I enjoy "sprint" triathlons, running for charity, snow skiing, and watching as many movies as possible.  Most importantly, I really enjoy getting delicious food from our patients.
